PhD students in Strasbourg can attend for free all the classes given in the Institute of Economics of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa. This is a joint programme. Typically, during his first year the PhD student will stay in Pisa and follow all the classes. Back to Strasbourg, he or she will complete the scientific part, very often by having a supervisor both in Strasbourg and in Pisa. For more informations, please have a look to the Programme website.
Although most first year courses of the Joint Doctoral Programme in Economics between Strasbourg and Pisa take place in Pisa, some second year courses are held by the Augustin Cournot Doctoral School. All PhD students enrolled at the Augustin Cournot Doctoral School can attend these courses, whenever they attend courses in Pisa or not.
